FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man is accused of shooting a victim who later died at the hospital after the victim was located hiding on his property on Tuesday morning in Fulton County, according to warrants.
Warrants state that Thomas Jackson was checking his property at around 6:50 a.m. near Elite Auto Sales and Service, located at 1607 Connally Dr., and securing the gate upon his entry when he located a man.
According to warrants, the man was trying to hide, but Jackson walked towards the man while holding a gun and grabbed him.
The man pushed off the secured fence and tried to run, warrants state, but Jackson pointed his gun at the man and shot him, hitting him in the buttocks.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment, but later died. He was identified as Timthoy Collins.
