ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Three days after injuring his right foot against Maryland, Michigan fullback Max Bredeson wheeled his way into Schembechler Hall to speak with the media.

Bredeson wouldn’t discuss the diagnosis, only revealing that he suffered the injury on a third-down catch he made in the first quarter. He was spotted on the sideline afterward with crutches and a boot on his foot. The boot remained on Tuesday, while Bredeson got around with a mobile scooter.

“We’re going to do everything in our power to be ready to play on Saturday,” Bredeson, a two-time captain, told reporters. “Feel good about it. Feel really good about it.”

Bredeson said he’s willing to do “whatever it takes” to play on Saturday against the top-ranked Buckeyes (12 p.m., FOX), a must-win game to keep 9-2 Michigan’
