A motorway barrier was left badly damaged following a late-night crash near Wolverhampton.

Repair work on the M54 is ongoing today (Wednesday, November 26), with motorists warned of delays.

It comes after a HGV crashed into a barrier between J2 for Wolverhampton and J3 for Albrighton at around 11.50pm last night (Tuesday, November 25).

Two people were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious following the collision.

And almost 12-hours on repair work is still ongoing, according to National Highways West Midlands.
