Colorado State is expected to hire UConn’s football coach Jim Mora as the schools next head coach, ESPN reports.

According to ESPN, the deal is expected to come together in the near future.

Mora will be Colorado States fourth coach since 2019.

Mora has nine back-to-back season wins at UConn and led the school to three bowl seasons in his four years there. UConn had only been to one bowl game in 11 years before Mora became the head coach.

He has coaching experience for six seasons at UCLA and also was an NFL head coach for Seattle and Atlanta.

ESPN reports, Mora will join the school’s Pac-12 with the new athletic director John Weber.
