The Chester Fire Department is on scene of a fire at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1408 W. Second St.

The initial dispatch went out as wires on fire in the area, and that the wires then came down in the street. Within minutes the burning wires reportedly caught the church on fire, and the call soon turned into a full working fire dispatch.
