A poll of 2,000 adults found 40% of the information Brits consume every day comes from across the pond.
Three out of every 10 Brits are more clued up on Donald Trump than Prince Charles, according to a recent study. A survey of 2,000 adults revealed that 30% are as familiar with American pop culture as they are with their own. The research showed that 40% of the information they absorb daily is from the US – with 23% favouring Taylor Swift's tunes over Dua Lipa's.
Moreover, nearly one in 10 know more about the love life of actors Zendaya and Tom Holland than they do about the Royal family – this figure rises to 29% for those aged 18 to 24. And a whopping 34% of this younger demographic are more knowledgeable about the Kardashians than EastEnders .
