CHICAGO (WLS) -- It is set to be a very windy Wednesday for the Chicago area, with snow forecast to move into the area this weekend.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Chicago area until 9 p.m. Wednesday.
ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler says there could be occasional wind gusts over 50 miles-per-hour at times Wednesday.

Butler says there will also be flurries at times Wednesday.
Butler said Thursday and Friday will be dry, with some windy conditions remaining Thursday.
The cold will stick around for Black Friday for partly cloudy skies; flurries are possible in Northwest Indiana.
Butler said the snow begins to make its way into the Chicago area around 4 a.m. on Saturday morning.
