Jacobi Boudreaux played linebacker in middle school, and in his early high school years at John Curtis before making a successful transition to running back.
Now a senior, Boudreaux began playing running back as a sophomore and switched to the position full-time as a junior. He has been Curtis’ go-to option this season with nearly 1,000 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns in 10 games, averaging 7.9 yards per carry.
Born in Harvey, Boudreaux started playing football at a local park when he was 6 years old. He began attending Curtis in sixth grade, and he’s played football at the school ever since.
“(Boudreaux) has worked really hard and has been a big factor in our success on offense,” coach J.T. Curtis said. “He’s dedicated to being the best player he can be and has done a great job deve
