At least 13 people were killed and an unknown number of others were reported to be trapped after a massive fire ripped through multiple Hong Kong high-rise residential buildings on Wednesday (November 26), the government announced via Reuters .
Firefighters battled the blaze into the evening as thick black smoke and orange flames were seen billowing from the 31-storey buildings. The fire was reported to have started at the Wang Fuk Court housing complex, which has 2,000 residential apartments and takes up eight blocks in the Tai Po district.
