It looks like Jaxson Dart could return this week.
But how long will he be able to stay on the field?
That depends on whether Dart — the Giants ’ promising rookie quarterback — learns from his first seven NFL starts and does a better job of avoiding contact.
Dart has missed two games since suffering his first NFL concussion on Nov. 9 in Chicago. The Giants’ next game is Monday night at the Patriots — three weeks and a day after that Bears game.
If Dart continues to progress through the NFL’s concussion protocol, he will return for that challenging matchup, as the 2-10 Giants — losers of six straight — try to get more growth from him in their final five games.
