Aldi has announced the return of a festive promotion , offering classic Christmas vegetable staples for just 8p. It comes as a price war begins among major supermarkets in the lead-up to the festive period, with prices slashed to attract customers.

Aldi is bringing back its Christmas Super Six promotion for the sixth consecutive year, featuring a selection of British-sourced vegetables sold at a considerable discount. The German chain, which has more than 1,000 branches across the UK, says the promotion will be available in stores between December 18 and December 24 while stocks last.
