We're getting to playoff season in the fantasy football world, and you need to win this week, or it all might be over.
Don't worry, we have the wide receivers that you need to play or pick up off the waiver wire, and the stud wideouts who might need to sit on the pine this weekend, so you get that dub.
Start: Courtland Sutton (Denver Broncos)
I do not care if Sutton has had a down season. Don't look at Sutton's numbers. Look at the numbers of the cornerbacks and secondary the Broncos will be facing with Washington. The Commanders are a dumpster truck on fire without anyone driving up front at the moment, and Sutton is going to get his yards and do some damage this weekend in primetime. Don't overthink it and throw in Sutton so he can feast.
Sit: DJ Moore (Chicago Bears)
The Eagles and Bears have had a mini alliance this past month as the two have thwarted each other's divisional foes, and now they face off on Black Friday in a game of two NFC division leaders. The Bears are a good team and on the right track, but the Eagles are a great team with a world-class defense, hungry after an embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Moore has done well this season, but this is a step up in competition for the Bears, and Caleb Williams is not going to have forever to throw the ball against a killer Eagles defensive front.
Start: Davante Adams (Los Angeles Rams)
Another week, another Adams in the red zone masterclass. He isn't going to get you the most yards even against a beatable Panthers secondary, but with Matthew Stafford leading the MVP race, he's going to keep feeding his cheat code at the goal line. If the Eagles have the Tush Push, then the Rams have the Air Adams.
Sit: Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
If you have Jefferson and no one else close to him, sure, go with him. But if there's anyone on the bench that has an easier matchup and/or a better run of play right now, don't stick with Jefferson just because of the pedigree. Be it Max Brosmer or J.J. McCarthy, it doesn't matter at the moment. The Seattle Seahawks have one of the best defenses in the league, and they're going to be tearing through a Swiss cheese offensive line and pressuring whoever is under center
Start: Cooper Kupp (Seattle Seahawks)
Every person and their grandmother will be playing Jaxon Smith-Njigba if they are lucky to have him. But don't overlook Kupp, who hasn't been great this season in Seattle, but has been close to some breakout plays and is consistent in his work on the line. The Minnesota Vikings have a bottom-third secondary, and this feels like a week where Kupp is going to cash in some of those close calls for a touchdown against the Vikings.
Sit: Ricky Pearsall (San Francisco 49ers)
After a great start to the season, Pearsall has fallen off over the past month for the 49ers. Brock Purdy threw three interceptions last game and is still trying to find his footing back in the starting roster, and the Cleveland Browns, spearheaded by Myles Garrett, are going to be hounding him from first whistle to last. Unless your name is Christian McCaffrey, it's hard to see anyone getting any positive numbers in the air game against the Browns.
