SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The man who was convicted in the brutal 2019 killing of a San Francisco grandmother is expected to be sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole. The San Francisco District Attorney announced Wednesday that Keonte Gathron, 25, will be sentenced by the Honorable Judge Eric Fleming.

Gathron was convicted of murder in connection to a string of brutal, violent crimes, primarily targeting Asian elders and youth. One of the victims, Yik Oi Huang, an 89-year-old SF grandmother, was brutally beaten and died from her injuries one year later.
