A 25-year-old man was killed early Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway in Bethpage, Nassau police said.
The driver was northbound in a 2024 Land Rover near the Plainview Road exit just after 1 a.m. when he lost control of the SUV, left the roadway and struck multiple trees, police said.
The police did not immediately identify the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The northbound lanes of the expressway were closed in the vicinity of the crash for almost five hours, police said.
