Dozens of tractors have been driven into central London for a Budget day protest - causing serious disruption around Trafalgar Square.
Farmers protesting against UK inheritance tax reforms have brought their tractors into the heart of the capital, defying a police ban.
The Metropolitan Police said “several arrests” have been made as some breached the force’s conditions for the protest.
Dozen of tractors, some draped in Union Flags and St George's Crosses, made their way through London, causing delays around Trafalgar Square.
The demonstration comes as Rachel Reeves delivered her second Budget .
Last year, she introduced measures to apply an inheritance tax of 20 per cent to agricultural property valued over £1 million.
