ORLANDO, Fla. – We’ve said it all week, and for good reason, Thanksgiving brings some of the busiest travel days of the entire year, and Central Florida’s roads are already reflecting it.

For days, we’ve been preaching the same message on-air and across social media: slow down, pay attention, and be patient.

With millions of Floridians hitting the highways for family gatherings and last-minute travel, awareness is key to keeping everyone safe.

Earlier this week, we featured interviews with traffic experts and safety partners who offered important reminders ahead of the holiday rush. But I wanted to shift gears and talk briefly about Thanksgiving itself and what it means to bring a little kindness onto the roadway.
