DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A woman is facing a $1 million bond after deputies say she was found with drugs during a traffic stop in Duplin County.

Yesterday, Duplin County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a car driven by 25-year-old Lourdes Canty, of High Point, on I-40 near mile marker 361.

During the stop, deputies say they discovered approximately one pound of methamphetamine and 47 grams of fentanyl.

Deputies seized the drugs and arrested Canty.

She was charged with the following:

Three felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine

Two felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance

Three felony counts of trafficking opium or heroin

Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances

Possession of drug pa
