Plans have been unveiled to turn an historic building currently used as offices into homes on a key Solihull village street.
Applicant Timothy Doyle is proposing the change for 91 Main Road in Meriden saying a large part of the building has stood empty for a while and is falling into disrepair.
The application, which was submitted to Solihull Council on November 14, is for a change of use converting the office building into four new homes.

A heritage statement included in the application says the building – which is near the Bulls Head pub – dates back to the early 18th century and was likely built as a two-up, two-down dwelling.
