Parts of Britain look set to be covered under several inches of snow , the latest weather maps suggest. The dramatic maps come as the Met Office issued a yellow warning of wind with a possibility of travel disruption on Thursday and Friday.
WXCharts weather maps, which were generated using the MetDesk data on November 26, show that the snowy conditions will go as far south as Birmingham, with nearby areas experiencing 34 cm (around 13 inches) of snow on December 9. According to the maps, the unsettled conditions will begin to hit the southern areas of the country at midnight of December 9.
