Kantina held a soft opening from 3 to 9 p.m. Nov. 24 at its new location at 5361 Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst.

Kantina originally opened in 2016 inside Case Western Reserve University’s Albert and Norma Geller Hillel Student Center on Euclid Avenue in n Cleveland, and plans for the restaurant’s relocation to the space formerly home to Big B’s Bar-B-Que were announced in December 2024. Kantina partner Seth Bromberg previously told the Cleveland Jewish News this move was part of an effort to be “closer to the Jewish community.”

Kantina serves soups, salads and entrees made from scratch and is under the supervision of Cleveland Kosher.

The store is taking online, pick up and to-go orders only at this time from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays. Kantina
