A woman who works at the Asda in Govan is being recognised for her compassion after hearing someone call out for help and bringing the distressed man into the store for a heat.
At 5:30am Johann Stalker was arriving for an early shift at 5.30am when she heard someone calling for help. She eventually found an elderly man who looked stressed and had no jacket on out in the cold .
Johann, who works in the store’s home department , said: “I was getting my things out of the car when I heard someone shouting for help. I followed the sound and found an elderly man, freezing, with no jacket on. He seemed confused and said he needed a bit of help.
