BROOKLYN — BRITISH FUNK QUARTET The New Mastersounds capped the last leg of their farewell TTFN Tour with a show at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, nearing the end to the band’s overseas touring after 26 years. The 27-song set at their sold-out show featured deep-catalog highlights, guest spots from Norside Trio and vocalist Shira Ellis, and covers of Stretch’s “Why Did You Do It” and the Grateful Dead’s “Help on the Way,” according to Relix .
The band officially closes the tour with a New Year’s Eve double-header in Denver on Dec. 30-31.
