Some severe weather could impact travelers in the sky or on the road through Thanksgiving weekend, according to forecasters.
Snow is expected to hit parts of the northern U.S., while rain is predicted to sweep other areas around the country, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service, The Weather Channel and AccuWeather.

Overnight Wednesday, heavy snow and strong winds will spread from northern and western Michigan and northern Wisconsin to northeast Ohio, northwest Pennsylvania, and upstate New York, forecasters said.
Meanwhile, some rain showers are possible in the Pacific Northwest, including steadier rain at night in western Washington state on Wednesday.
