Wicked: For Good removed substantial footage from a romantic scene between Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey for being excessively "passionate".

The highly anticipated sequel has arrived in cinemas following last year's musical phenomenon, which introduced Grande's Glinda and her friend-turned-adversary Elphaba (portrayed by Cynthia Erivo).

Following a tense showdown with the Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum), the duo part ways when Elphaba becomes public enemy number one and Glinda chooses to remain in the Emerald City.
