As we prepare to dig into Thanksgiving dinner, we explore what most Americans prefer on their plates.

According to Campbell's State of the Sides Report , 63% enjoy side dishes over turkey.
The top five side dishes are:
Stuffing -- or maybe you call it dressing
Mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Mac and cheese
Green bean casserole
Green bean casserole came in fifth, with 44% calling it the "most iconic" Thanksgiving side.
Also, half the country, especially Gen Z, says mac and cheese should be a staple at every holiday table.
