TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo man was arrested and charged with the murder of a missing 27-year-old man after officers pulled him over and found the victim’s body parts in the vehicle.

According to the Toledo Police Department, Martel Huggins, 33, was arrested on Nov. 25 for the murder of Malicai Calder, 27. Calder was reported missing on Nov. 22, police said.

Huggins was stopped while driving Calder’s work vehicle in the 3100 block of Mulberry Street, where officers found parts of Calder’s body in the vehicle, according to charging records.

Police affidavits said Calder had suffered gunshot and stab wounds to his head.
