Mississippi has one more reason to tune in to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. Watching has been a longtime American holiday tradition, and this year you might see someone you know.
The Alcorn State University Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite marching band will make its debut on the national stage. Students from the historically Black university in Mississippi were invited last year. They worked hard to raise funds and will be part of the lineup in New York City. They're one of 11 marching bands that will take part in the celebration.
