CLEVELAND, Ohio --– Cleveland’s annual WinterLand celebration in Public Square will look a little different this year, as organizers rethink the traditional lighting ceremony and expand festivities across the entire afternoon and evening on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Instead of a single lighting countdown drawing tens of thousands at once, the new IlluminateCLE light show will debut at 5:30 p.m. and repeat every 30 minutes through 11 p.m.

The 50-foot Public Square tree will sparkle with synchronized lights set to three original songs by local artists, while a half-million additional lights shimmer throughout the Square.
