YOUNGSTOWN - Police in Youngstown responded to a report of a vehicle intentionally set on fire, as well as an alleged attempt to set another vehicle on fire on Tuesday.
The first report came in shortly before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday from Ridge Avenue. The caller told police that he was woken up by his security cameras and saw that his truck was on fire.
The Youngstown Fire Department was called to put out the fire, and an arson investigator was called to take over the investigation.
A second report was made around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of Market Street. This caller said he saw a burnt piece of paper on the front passenger seat of his vehicle.
