LAUGHLIN — To fund needed repairs and improvements to Laughlin’s water system over the next decade, ratepayers will see a 7.1% annual increase in their water bills for at least the next five years, according to a new plan presented by the Big Bend Water District.
The 38-page report outlining the planned system improvements presented at two recent public workshops has prompted the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce to issue a list of demands, including a detailed cost breakdown and an independent audit of the water district’s budget. ×
