BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Golden Empire Transit District is set to be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Officials with the transit district said no fixed route and Get-A-Lift paratransit buses will be operating Nov. 27. Buses are scheduled to resume on Friday.
