Brighton football and Union-Endicott set to battle for a trip to state final

When it comes to the high school football state rankings, the Brighton Bruins have come a long way and may climb a bit further.

Look for the Class A state tournament semifinalists from Section V to rise into the top 10, if not higher, when the New York State Sportswriters Association releases the next set of rankings this week.
