Simu Liuhas slammed Hollywood's "backslide" of Asian representation on screen. Following a memorable role on the series Kim's Convenience, Liu quickly became a global star as the lead in Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and will return to play the title character in Avengers: Doomsday. Liu has also appeared in films like Barbie, Jackpot!, and Netflix's recent animated film, In Your Dreams.
