The Pittsburgh Steelers have made some key changes to their practice squad after some injuries have forced their hand to add more depth.

With the injuries to Ben Skowronek and DK Metcalf at wide receiver, the team decided to add wide receiver Cornell Powell, who came last week to workout for the Steelers.

Powell is a former Super Bowl Champion wide receiver with the Kansas City Chiefs. A former standout wide receiver at Clemson, Powell, 28, was with the Houston Texans earlier this season but was released from the practice squad.

Now, he joins the Steelers for some depth help. He was a fifth-round pick out of Clemson in the 2021 NFL Draft and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash while standing 6-feet tall.
