PETTIS COUNTY — A Sedalia woman facing child abuse allegations made her first court appearance Wednesday morning.
Sydney P. Koeller-Gardner is charged with two counts each of abuse or neglect of a child and child endangerment, and one count of armed criminal action.
A probable cause statement says Koeller-Gardner was allegedly caught on home surveillance videos hitting at least two children with a wooden paddle. She also can reportedly be seen hitting, kicking and shoving one of the children.
Koeller-Gardner s in custody at the Pettis County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
