GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - In spite of an August court order to take antipsychotic drugs, a Grand Island woman charged with felony theft is still not fit to stand trial.
Kelli Lepler, 48, is charged in Hall County with 46 counts of theft by deception. Court documents show that Lepler, through her company Monument Advisors, is accused of taking money from customers to buy headstones and then not delivering them. Police said the victims’ losses totaled more than $200,000.
In his ruling Tuesday, Butler said Lepler is still unfit to stand trial.
Lepler was charged with the crimes in September 2023, but has never gone to trial.
