FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. —
Vice President JD Vance was in Kentucky on Wednesday feeding military members for Thanksgiving.
Vance and his wife, Usha, spent time at Fort Campbell to serve meals to the soldiers.
After eating, Vance took the stage to talk about his time as a Marine, and he thanked the soldiers for their sacrifice.
He opened up honoring the shooting of Guard members in DC , which had just happened.
"And, first of all, I want everybody who's a person of faith to say a prayer for those two national Guardsmen that they're able to spend Thanksgiving with their families instead of losing their lives, because I understand they're still in pretty tough condition," he said.
He was introduced by musician Kid Rock.
