NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are asking for the public's help in finding out more information after a motorcyclist shot at a vehicle on I-664 in Newport News Wednesday night.
VSP said the shooting took place at about 11:03 p.m. on I-664 northbound, near Roanoke Avenue. They said they believe the driver of a black motorcycle was involved in a road rage incident with one vehicle, before shooting at another one. The motorcycle then drove toward I-64.
The victim of the shooting was not injured, but the vehicle was struck, VSP said.
