OLDHAM COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - The Texas Department of Public Safety says one man is dead after he was struck by a semi on I-40 near Vega early on Monday.

DPS says around 1:30 a.m. Nov. 24, a semi was driving westbound on I-40.

Officials say 40-year-old Scott Lee Guy of Novi, Michigan, was walking in the roadway when he was struck by the semi.

Guy was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.

Officials say the crash remains under investigation.
