BRADENTON, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a tree in a Bradenton neighborhood earlier on Nov 26, according to police.

The crash happened in the Tidewater Preserve neighborhood, north of Highway 64 and 48th Street Court East.

A Bradenton Police spokeswoman said the driver was knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital. The driver’s condition has not been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
