An Alabama attorney is jailed on multiple charges including conspiracy to commit murder.
Sara Baker, a 74-year-old lawyer in Cullman, was taken into custody Tuesday night, Cullman police announced.
She is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, three counts of attempted murder, distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree elder abuse, four counts of solicitation to commit a controlled substance crime and second-degree domestic violence.
Police did not release details, but Cullman Daily reported that she is accused of trying to kill her husband.
Baker is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center.
Police officials thanked District Attorney Champ Crocker, the FBI North Alabama Violent Crimes Task Force and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force for their work on the case.
