GARDEN CITY — Hundreds of individuals of all ages and families of all sizes were at the Vineyard Boise Christian Fellowship on Tuesday, partaking in a free Thanksgiving meal provided by the Boise Rescue Mission.
Boise Rescue Mission President, Reverend Bill Roscoe, said the shelter’s 23-year tradition saw over 1,600 served in Nampa on Saturday and was expected to end Tuesday with hundreds of meals served at its Garden City gathering. In both cases, the Rescue Mission made meals available for all members of the community, regardless of their housing status, and provided a box of food to take home and enjoy on Thanksgiving Day.
