After a mild Wednesday, where temperatures reached the low 60s for most of the metro, cold weather is expected to return to the area.

Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s for Thanksgiving before dropping into the upper 30s and low 40s on Friday.

Winds will also pick up from the west, with gusts exceeding 20mph for most spots by Thursday afternoon.

By Sunday seasonable weather will return, only to last 2 days before another shot of cold air arrives.
