I-84 westbound closed in Waterbury after car overturns

WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - I-84 westbound is closed between exits 25 and 23 in Waterbury due to an overturned car crash.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the closure Wednesday at 6:28 p.m.

The crash comes as AAA expects 772,000 people to drive through Connecticut this week for Thanksgiving, with Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening representing the worst time to be on the roads.
