Southern football has a new head coach, its fifth since 2020.
Former Hall of Fame NFL running back Marshall Faulk will take the job, according to a report by Jordan Schultz .
Faulk’s now charged with righting the ship after Southern’s disappointing season (1-10, 0-7 SWAC) in which it had the longest losing streak in program history.

Faulk was one of the focal points of the Los Angeles Rams’ “Greatest Show on Turf” offense. During the season leading to the team’s 2000 Super Bowl win, he amassed over 2,400 total yards and 12 touchdowns.
