Hugo Ekitike had to be substituted midway through Liverpool's Champions League match against PSV. The striker banged his fists on the Anfield pitch in fury before limping off to the sideline.
Alexander Isak came on to replace his fellow summer signing just after the hour mark but was unable to make an impact as Arne Slot 's men suffered a humiliating defeat at Anfield. Ekitike had started in place of the Sweden international, who got the nod against Nottingham Forest .
Slot explained before the match that Isak was not fit enough to start , but now he'll have a new fitness worry with Ekitike going down in the second half and being unable to continue.
