HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Thanksgiving plans became complicated this year for families after two tornadoes hit the area Monday, disrupting holiday celebrations.

While some made reservations at local restaurants, others received surprise deliveries of Thanksgiving supplies.

It wasn’t much — just a brown bag filled with Thanksgiving basics — but for those receiving it, the thought and kindness behind it made all the difference.
