Albertans can share their thoughts on budget priorities in 2026 as the province opened a public consultations website on Friday.

Until Jan. 15, 2026 residents can participate in the survey, which collects financial implications on previous budget decisions comparable to personal situations, and asks Albertans how much they support or oppose several areas of government funding.

The survey contains mostly multiple choice and drop-down questions, however it includes two areas to share written feedback, up to 500 characters.

Last year more than 6,500 Albertans completed the online survey and the province also received more than 100 written submissions from non-profit organizations, municipalities, chambers of commerce and individuals.
