The city of Greenville is offering free parking on Thanksgiving and on Black Friday.

"Whether you’re coming downtown to shop, stroll, or sip, we’ve got you covered," according to a Facebook post.

Free parking in all city-owned garages on Thursday, Nov. 27 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, Nov. 28 (Black Friday), according to the post.

Free parking at North Laurens, Broad Street, Richardson Street, West Washington garages, West End lots, and along Main Street over the weekend, according to the post.
