SOLON, Ohio — Crews are racing to complete key exterior work at Solon Community Park before freezing temperatures arrive, as the city prepares for a noticeable shift in construction activity through the colder months.
Parks and Recreation Director Rich Parker said progress has remained steady throughout the fall , with major site work, utility upgrades and foundation components either finished or close to completion. Those steps are allowing the layout of the renovated park to take clearer shape.
“Overall progress at Community Park has been strong,” Parker said. “Major site work, utility updates, and foundation elements are either completed or nearing completion, setting the stage for the more visible transformation residents will begin noticing.”
